I just cant get use to the pvp server and getting killed all the time by other players..i think they see my cloth and have to kill me. lol. I tried to stay up in level but i guess with the time change i still don't get to play with you all. I see you, mel and andjo were in warsong gulch the other day. where is that at? can i go there at my level? (once a noob always a noob, huh.) oh well.. i am not sure where i can go and not be in alliance territory. I seem to be running out of places to go by myself. duskwood is a new server and not half as crowded as shadow song was.. IF is almost lag free... one more week til Factions ...yay.

I seem to be running out of places to go by myself. duskwood is a new server and not half as crowded as shadow song was.. IF is almost lag free... one more week til Factions ...yay. I can definitely say the PvP aspect has slowed my leveling. However, on the flip side, I'm gaining "rank" from the give/take of killing and pwn'n of others. Oh and the "Warsong Gulch," "Alteric Valley" and "Alteric Basin" (I think those where the 3) are nothing more than specialized organized PvP arenas (with specific objectives/missions - instead of simply killing the opponent). Since you, Mel and Andjo are all +/- 1 level of each other I think you all should be able to join in at the same time. To avoid a lopsided battles, people's participation are influenced by what level they are. E.g. lvls 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 can only compete within each respective lvl range. Neco

Figgy: Where you go to lvl also plays a huge role in how many times you get attacked by alliance. If you went to Taren Mill in Hillsbrad to level, you're going to get ganked severly. Since Taren Mill and South Shore are both in the same zone, the high level officers of Killtrocity have dubed that zone "The Frontlines". I've been part of huge raid groups that have formed to beat back the alliance in that zone. At your lvl (wich is also my lvl) you should focus on going to Thousand Needles (Follow the road south out of the barrens). Sure in 1k Needles you'll come across the ocasional alliance member, but it's nothing like on the other contenent where a corpse run is certain. And just remember, that if Andjo and I are on at the time, and some alliance loser is giving you greif, just let us know and you'll have 2 60's there to make an example out of them I hate to see you not online, since we have so few people in the guild as of right now, we need all the activity/higher lvls that we can get. And I understand that getting attacked by the alliance all the time is rough, and sadly it doesn't get much better till about mid-30's, it's the reason why Andjo and I took several more months than we should have to lvl our first set of chars to 60. Once you get up in lvl more, you'll feel a certain sence of invulnerability when a warrior and a mage jump you while you're fighting mobs and you end up pwning the mob as well as the warrior and mage (For a warlock, once you have a decent build and a good grasp on what you're doing in a pvp environment, this scenario isn't too uncommon [Ask Andjo, he's seen me do it ]) So, the only word of advice I can give to you is "Press on". It's always hard in the begining, but eventually would-be alliance gankers will see the name "Figormortis" and learn to run in the oposite direction. I look foreward to cracking skulls with you on the battle field of glory! -Mel

Has anyone tried out the PTR servers yet? They are amazingly GODLY. I lead a 40 man raid on SW and there was another raid group that came along too. the alliance couldant push us away from the gates of SW and then we all took over the deeprun tram. Can you say intense!!! and btw the greatest thing, NO LAG!!! W0000tt lol.and Alterac Valley is the way it should be now as everyone is equally equipped making it rely more on teamwork and skill.

Hmmm, we went to Arathi Highlands, most of that is in the low 30 lvl range. (That is the zone east out of Hillsbrad) There is a little more alliance presence than in 1k needles; however, still not nearly as bad as some of the other zones. Also, you are in the lvl range for Black Fathom Deeps (BFD) and Razorfen Kraul (RFK). BFD is in the Elf Country north of the barrens on the far North Western side. RFK is in the southern barrens on the western side. There are plenty of places to go What times do you play? Morning, noon, evening? What time zone are you in? If you play more in the morning, then I could try to log in more in that time range to quest with you. We need you Figgy! -Mel
